Anybody else get to the point where they knew which candles had the dagger so they could avoid it? I hated accidentally replacing my throwing axe or boomerang with the triple-throw bonus with an unexpected dagger... took a million of them to kill anything...

I remember this stage as the first one were the difficulty went up a considerable notch.

@MarlonOtakubrother In the game, I got about 2 RECORDED deaths...because I used save state and load state on an emulator...
But, I don't remember having a game that let a die-scar in my brain...except in TinyTank (the level with those fucking dancing robot!...)

The Waterfalls of Agharta track in Castlevania Lords of Shadow took pieces of this original SNES track. Both of them are great!

I remember the first time playing this stage. I died so many times that it became a permanent scar on my brain. Now I can clear this stage without taking damage or dying. BECAUSE YOU CANT LET THE GAME WIN LIKE THAT!!!

I really enjoy most all of Super Castlevania IV's soundtrack, but over time, this has become my favorite. A really well done, melancholy song.
