This was an short-lived anthology series (39 episodes; 13 of them were later syndicated) featuring Winchell as host and narrator, based on crime stories associated with him through his long career as a New York newspaper columnist. It aired on ABC during the 1957-'58 season (originally after "THE ADVENTURES OF OZZIE & HARRIET" on Wednesdays, then moved to Fridays before it was cancelled)- and produced by Desilu, who later produced "THE UNTOUCHABLES", narrated by Winchell.
