@1982yota alright well thanks, now i know what to look for.. hey do you perhaps know a website that has a list of what you need to do a cummins conversion on an old chevy like mine? i've seen them for fords and some chevys but never a 72 chevy.
@MrCardini if you can find a 94-98.5 12v that would be your best bet as they are the best out of the bunch. You can build more power for less than the 24v or newer engines and they simpler and easier to work on and way more reliable. Price wise 24v engines well probably be about 1k more unless you find a deal. You truck would be a perfect candidate for a 5.9 swap
@1982yota ok. haha ohh, yeah i've been dabating the 12 or 24v? (any input on that??) yeah i've been looking for a 90's dodge as a doner but i dont have enough money yet for a new pickup. see i have a 72 k20 chevy truck, so im guessing mine would be pretty easy too.
@MrCardini I only have 3 vids of this truck. Actually I didnt spend a dime on the conversion because only worked at the shop it was built at and its not mine lol. But all BS aside a conversion varies in price. Mainly depends on what motor you choose, trans, what kind of upgrades you want, things like that. If you can find a whole donor truck that would be best as you have 90% of the parts. Also depends what vehicle its going into. 1973-87 chevy trucks are without a doubt the easiest
@1982yota thanks
