@mc4661 It is all due to turkish mentality. Typical turkish mentality is that of a donkey and a turkey. A turk is as stabborn as a donkey and foolish as a turkey the bird. I also met many turks who looks down uopn Yeshar Kemal too. What stupid people turks are. Actually even a turkey can have better sense than a turk,
Last let me say : IF YOU EXCHANGE A TURK FOR A TURKEY, THE OWNER OF THE TURKEY IS THE LOSER!

@abbyroman I am so sorry for annoying you. But I think you are angry at the wrong guy. I think you want to go out and find the guys who liked Transformers 2 and argue with them about what good movies should be like. While I agree that most novels and movies seem to follow a formula, you seem to have a pronounced inferiority complex when it comes to American movies and maybe even all things Western in general. Take your meds and fuck off.
@CTHULHUSURVIVOR Inferiority complex ? West ? I LIVE in the West (London). As for the inferiority complex, we'll talk about it when you're done with Kieslowski, Tarkovsky, Andrei Konchalovsky, Bergman, Sergei Parajanov and Mikhail Kalatozov. Transformers shouldn't even be counted as a film. It's just a comic book with a big budget. As for the last sentence... what a lousy, cliched, american response.

When I first saw some films by this director. I knew nothing about the problems between the Kurds and the Turks. I did not realise that Yilmaz Guney was a Kurd, and that many Turks saw him an enemy of the state. These films got me so interested in Turkey that I started visiting the country once a year. When some Turkish friends asked me what brought me to Turkey in the first place, they were astonished when I said it was because of films like Yol, which some Turks see as a national insult.
