ace of base made the 90's a little more sexy, in a UK kinda way that the spice girls couldnt quite accomplish. this is coming from a hip hop artist, who is now 22, so i may be incorrect. what makes this comment worse, is its almost 1AM....lol

@gothatway09 I was being sarcastic. I realise they were hardly that old at the time. My point was they acted like teenagers although they were clearly to old to be. Their manager probably pushed them in that direction. It was all just an image.

@GavinJ37 "3 middle aged women"??? DUDE. They are middle aged 50s TODAY in 2012. But in 1983 when they released "Cruel Summer" they were young and in their early-mid 20s. Get your facts straight.

@TwistedSister09 Are you kidding. Bananarama was 3 middle aged women singing out of tune and trying to pass themselves off as teenagers. Their cover of Venus was a Disgrace. This version is much better
