Hy Levy lived in terror of what would happen if he didn't make his number, a weekly sales target of $200,000. The money was due every Thursday by 2 p.m.

No excuses.

Often when he failed, his bosses exiled him to the kitchen to scrub pots. Sometimes they made him eat only beans and rice for a week. They publicly humiliated him, calling him a loser, a saboteur. They got in his face, screaming, swearing. You soulless bastard!

He said they used profanity a lot where he worked: the Church of Scientology.

  • The greed is astounding!

  • If the CO$ keeps saying how money is nothing compared to your getting things in your life "handled", then why do they want so much of it from every member all the time??

  • Hubbard was a conman. Co$ is a pyramid scheme. Operation Snow White shows that the cult is a criminal organization. Co$ was given tax exemption as a "church" because the asthmatic dwarf made a deal with the IRS commissioner to drop all lawsuits against the IRS, if they would give Co$ church status. Co$ has drained the assets of untold amounts of people over the last 20 years legally, while not paying taxes. Does anyone else see anything wrong here?

  • Hy Levy was able to go home to see his mother....I know many people who were not able to do that because of the "church's" policy of disconnection. Hy and his ilk ruin lives no matter his delusional good intentions.

  • thankyou Hy

  • I am astonished newspapers still call Scientology Inc. a "church."

  • Reading the comments at TampaBay shows me that if the brainwashed $cibot hasn't woken up by now, then the chances are very slim they will ever blow. Creepy and sad.

  • Powerful.
