  • Thanks for explaining that the strings will be slipping a lot because they are new. I bought a new violin with out any knowledge at all about violin and was so frustrated about tuning it. I could not start any lesson because it keeps going out of tune. I even thought the store sold me a bad violin. I was going to give up on violin totally but thanks to your explanation, i now would like to continue.
