No more falling tailgates with this quick fix for a gas strut. I just made one of these for a friend's tractor so thought it might be something others could share. Simple, low cost and do-able with or without powertools. Another practical use for pallet wood!

Wow, that is such a simple, yet fantastic idea. I do what you used to do: prop it up with something, but it very inconvenient and not good looking. I like you're idea. I think I will steal it, haha. Thanks for posting!
