This is my 3rd flight so far with the 4F200 and it seems to be a pretty nice helicopter! I will keep pushing it further and hopefully will be able to record some 3D flight with it soon!

  • I am someone who has flown 4 channel before, but nowhere near mastered it. Could I learn on this?

  • @Hogwit I wouldn't recommend it. I would start with a blade SR. This 4F200 is good, but it has a weird feel because it is flybarless, you would be better with a flybar heli to start.

  • Was thinking about picking one of these up. How are you liking it so far?

  • @CrazyHeliDude I wouldn't recommended it. I've had problems with it since I got it(after these first videos). Every single minor bump or hard landing will strip all 3 cyclic servos(I've replaced them 2 times now - 6 new servos). it also got very unstable, I don't know if the RX went bad, or what, but after it lost RX link one time and spun to the ground, it hasn't been the same. Take a look at their other helis, I've had good luck with the other walkeras, but not the 4f200

  • I am looking for a really good helicopter to learn how to fly and repair/upgrade. I am also looking for a great helicopter flight sim . What do you recommend? Great videos Hope I can fly as good as you one day.

  • @zighearts If you have never flown before, look into the E-flite blade mCX2 and the E-flite blade mSR. Those are the two best(in my opinion) helicopters to start out learning flight with. A great flight sim is called Pheonix, and there is also Real Flight. Both are great, but many people claim pheonix is better for helicopters, and real flight is better for planes.

  • Gorilla tape FTW!!

  • I'm researching this particular model - so far' I'm sold on it - I'm planning on getting a couple of them for messing around' I've got a lot of RC experience with airplanes but this will be my first helicopter. I like the SR Blade by E-flight too as well as the Mini Titan by Thunder Tiger all are beautifully constructed and seem like quality equipment - guess I'll have to check out you're recommendation on the Pheonix and Real flight simulators.

    Thanks for the insight too.

  • @Hogwit defo get a honey bee v2

  • @earthling1984 I would agree about the servos being weak. I replaced mine with futaba s3114, they fit prefectly and you can get a gear set for them if you strip a gear. Hope that helps!

  • I have a V400D02 which is a little larger than this one, and the first thing you have to do is replace the junk servos that come with it.

In regards to sims, for those of you that have a Mac, you can go to heli-x.com and down load a free demo version. If you like it, then you can purchase a code to unlock the demo and it becomes the full version. Works great and it is for helis only.

  • @earthling1984 - Ok thanks for the good and timely info. I will definitely avoid this one. Looking forward to trying out the Blade mCPx coming out in 2 or 3 weeks.
