@imthemaster57 Since i don't work too much (i'm a student) i pay no taxes if i earn less than 40 000 NOK (a bit over 7k USD). If you earn decently in a fulltime job (100k USD+) you can end up paying almost 50% (maybe more?) in taxes.

@imthemaster57 It depends how much you earn, but according to the 2012 tax table, 22$ an hour working 20 days a month would be a bit under 26% tax payment.
However, do you earn 14.500$ a month, it would be around 44% tax payment; and the US government said Socialism was bad. o_O

@JakeJohnRogers He used to go to a university and majored in music, woodwinds. He eventually dropped out after 2 years I think? It's why he likes jazz and that type of music that you hear in the background.
