My brother-in-law helped to build this awesome clock. I do hope it hasn't gone for good. I was privileged to visit the workshop while it was being constructed and I have a handful of photos. With Andy Plant's permission I've put them on my website, only now it seems I can't put the url in a comment here?

@Sylver1432 If i remember correctly the program was called machinations and was on Channel 4. I think the creator of the clock was Called Andy Plant.

I worked at the Festival in 92 (for 2 weeks) in the NHS pavilion ouside which the clock was sited. I was so pleased that my birth town was gonna have it and it would be sited in John Frost Square. I only found out a couple of weeks ago that it had been removed. It's a great piece of engineering and i am saddened by this turn of events.
Thank you for showing it's dismantling. Let's hope there'll be a part two showing it's resurrection.

Thanks for ther comment. :) i am sorry to say but i will not be able to place up another video of the clock being reassembled becuase it has been taken to a local scrap yeard :(

So the final decision was in favor of NOT restoring it and reinstalling elsewhere?

Any idea what happened to this clock, or where I can find video of its performance?

Hi there yea the clock is no longer goin to be working and it has been dismantled and is curently locked up in a unit in newport and i am sorry but i do not know where u can get a working video i may have one i will have to look.
