Is this a normal apartment in Japan? It really makes me realize how much space is wasted in the U.S., where even a single bedroom apartment is 4 times this size. I like it though. It looks like a very simple and neat lifestyle.

so weres the dryer and on an up side the electric bill will be cheap. when i visit japan im gonna have to get a bigger place. i can see myself takeing down a wall there not purposly either. im six one and broad and work out and my arm length is that of a baseket ball player. point being i need more space lol.

wow!!! i guess people in japan are midgets lol. no disrespect. wow im like six one that shower would suck for me. atleast the shower head is on that hose type things that is if it would reach high enough lol. that door lock box thing is cool looking lol. im gonna be liveing in japan for a few months so i though i would check some vids out on japan. lol that apartments trippy. the toilet is crazy also lol. cool though heated is pipin lol. the washer machine looks like a printer/scanner.

Hey I really hope you have time to read this but, What's it like to be living in Japan? Especially with the huge culture shift and language barrier. I'd just like a very brief answer if possible! Loved your starcraft2 tourney vid!! :P

@boklem13 For me it just felt like home basically. But I had been there on longer vacations two times before, so the culture shock came then. Not this time around. And I can't even remember what I felt back then. lol But the language barrier can be a bit frustrating of course. Very frustrating sometimes. But it's nothing u can't deal with. It's so nice to see how far I've come, from more or less not knowing a single japanese word to being able to talk!
