  • get a western digital hdd

  • @yutubemedia actually you should get the amd 970 :) 3.5 ghz ! and unlock multiplier

  • @yutubemedia hey no prob. Everyone starts somewhere. 8) The great thing about building your own PC...is that you learn so much in the process.

  • @VvCompHelpvV Okay thanks man. Great to know. I know its all Noob stuff, but that would be me when it comes to this particular stuff.

  • @lAznPenguinl no, but the AMD 1055t and 1090 only have 6MB of catch, and only use L2 cache, the i7 has 8MB cache, and uses L3

  • @yutubemedia Nope. You don't and should not apply thermal paste to both the CPU cooler and CPU. The paste that is on the cooler is enough. 8)

  • Go Amd 1090t or 1055t :) Really good for future proof cause of AMD Fusion coming out. If you get AMD get a ATI Video card because of the amd vision !

  • @Electrotutorials65 oh I know, I already am going to get a SSD, I would never get a HDD again, lol. SSD is a must for me. And for the power unit, Its just a matter of cost, Im going to pick the cheapest one I can get for amount of WAtts. Im sure Corsair is great though

  • @VvCompHelpvV Okay got it. Good to have either option on the fan power. And ya, the 6GB of ram and 930 should be plenty! And so if my CPU cooler comes with thermal paste already on it, then I guess I dont have to also apply it to the top of my intel 930 CPU? Thats good.

  • Oh and for your HDD I suggest instead of using a HDD get a SSD pretty much they have the same size great speeds and amazing lifetime only problem is the price. If you don't want those these are two HDD's I really recommend the Western Digital Velociraptor amazing speeds and good price and storage. Or get any Seagate drive by far the best HDD brand in terms of speed (not comparing the WD Velociraptor) and lifetime
