I don't understand why everyone makes comparisons between Muse, Radiohead and Coldplay all the time? They all have different musical styles and they've all been active at different periods of time. And to whoever hates coldplay simply because they're mainstream, get out.

Stop the comparisons. Why not measure Radiohead up against Joy Division? It's idiotic and it makes no sense.

I think so many radiohead fans cant respect coldplay is b/cuz coldplay was original in the beginning but was succeded in influence by what is top 10. Meanwhile radiohead continues to be a band that made it but kept its integrity

Radiohead, Muse and Coldplay fans, why are we comparing? These bands are completely unique and artistically diverse. Stop being little fucking twelve year olds and respect the fact that THEY ARE ALL DIFFERENT. Where do I see Thom Yorke in Coldplay? How about Red Hot Chili Peppers? People that are truly creatively inspired would not compare two artists, it's completely insane.

I have been a Colplay fan for a long time. I just recently started to listen to Radiohead. So far I love The Bends album as well as KID A. I don't understand why you guys give Coldplay so much shit...They make genuinely good and meaningful music, just as Radiohead does and that all that matters to me. And yes I'm talking about the coldplay pre Mylo Xyloto which is an album I dont really like except for couple of songs. But hey when one door closes, many others open.
