Final Fantasy X-Monster Arena-Catastrophe

Catastrophe is the 3rd monster in the Original section. He has 2,200,000 HP and he starts the battle tucked away in his shell/cocoon thing. To get him out, you have to do about 500,000 points of damage to him. Once you get him out, he will attack with Toxic Spray, Demi, and Hundred Thorns, in that order. Toxic Spray only attacks one character with small damage but puts them in Armor, Magic, Mental and Power Break. You should already know what Demi does. Hundred Thorns hits the entire party with a lot of damage. Overall, he is probably the easiest monster in the Original section, only challenged by Ultima Buster, in my opinion.

not even close, his highest stat is strength at 118. although I am starting to optimize my sphere grid so in a few weeks everyone should have optimal stats, except for luck. I don't see any use for a max luck stat when those spheres can be used for HP.

been fighting this guy for 2 hours...my highest character has 7000 hp, all my aeons are dead,and nobody has break damage limit...i'm obviously vastly underleveled, he can't kill me because i have auto-life and 1mp cost on 2 of my characters, and i got his pattern down...

@truepersian405 for example for the black magus sisters you need 170 luck..otherwise u almost dont hit them

this guy is easy to beat! summon ur best aeon at the start. then use haste and defend before each attack! ur aeon should do 99999 each attack. You can do this even if ur characters stats are low and they die in 1 hit.

When the thing unfolds, remember the moves it uses! REMEMBER TO DEFEND ON 100 THORNS! It uses Acid, then Demi, then 100 thorns which should kill proably all ur chacrters,
