Kata One Man Band Bag - WINNING ENTRY! Gorilla Director / Gorilla News Lady

I was just informed that I won the Sony EX1!!!

This is my official entry to the Kata "One Man "Band" Contest. I ordered my bag last week and found out about the contest. I received my bag on Monday, and started shooting that evening and the next. I put my heart and soul into this and I hope this contest is legit! I spent hours and hours into the night every night and finished it on Friday Oct. 30th at 1:30am.

I wanted it to use no language so it could be shown internationally. I went all out purchasing a gorilla suit, and some ladies clothes from Ross. I had another skit planned where the lady gorilla goes on a date, and uses the bag as a purse, but I ran out of time.

I purchased the Kata OMB-75 and love it. My bag is waiting for the Sony PMW-EX1 price to come live with us! Surprisingly I could only find 3 other contest entries on YouTube, so maybe I have a chance.

A sony ex1 is a great camera.

Funny enough your vid. makes me want to purchase this bag.

Anyone have any feedback if this bag withstands the test of time?

The bag is great. I bought the trolley too so you can wheel it around. The trolley is a bit cheaply made though. The bag is tough, and perfect if you have lots of gear - including audio stuff.

I'm not sure what they will give me because the EX1 is discontinued, and the EX1R is not out until Dec. I definitely don't want a substitute camera. I'll wait if I have to, or take an EX1 if they already have one.

And now I am motivated to enter other contests too. A 6,100.00 camera for 20 hrs work is about 305.00 an hour. Not bad!

Thanks man! You found this quickly. Are you checking for any competition? I called them and they said there was a good one that recently came in, but I haven't found it yet. I may dress up for Halloween in the gorilla suit, but I tell ya, it is torture inside that mask. It gets sopping wet very quickly from breathing. Good luck in the contest!
