How to optimise torrent downloads (Using µTorrent)

Ok so this is to show all you torrenters how to get your downloads quicker.

Remember you should never download illegally so please use legal torrents
like I will in this demonstration.

1. Select your torrent

2. Add it to your µTorrent download client

3. Open options in the toolbar

4. select preferences

5. go down to bandwidth change the first 0 to a 1

6. click apply then ok

7. Right click on your active download

8. Go down to and Select Force Start

9. Right click on your active download again

10. Go down to Bandwidth allocation and select High

11. Select the Files tab from the bottom bar

12. Select all the files you are sure you want to download

13. Right click and select High Priority

14. Any files you dont want to download Right click on and select Don't
Download

15. Your torrent will now download much quicker

However if you torrent takes a couple of hours or longer to download then
Peers are going to be loging on and off but unless you refresh the page
µTorrent will think all the Peers that have been online are still online
so I will now show you how to refresh the page.

1. Right click Your Active Torrent

2. Go down to Advanced

3. Select Clear Peer List

And there you go follow these steps and your torrents will download much
quicker.
