@jingthethief It's a lot more realistic, just like in the books. Gadgets are ok, but an invisible car with missiles in the back is just ridiculous ( Die Another Day)

In my mind Pierce Brosnan was the best bond. The movies he did weren't all the best but Goldeneye was good and Brosnan was just badass. I like the latest movies with daniel craig but although they are good movies Daniel Craig just doesn't feel like bond to me.... Roger Moore was also one of the best

Connery did not play Bond as written. Ian Fleming had made statements about Connery being different than his character. Fleming did like Connery's take on Bond, but he didn't find him to be the exact character he had described. Craig and Dalton play it much closer to the book than Connery, and Dalton easily bears much more resemblance to the character's physical description.

I can say that Craig is a fantastic Bond that rival even the best of Bonds. And I'm only 23. And I think Craig's look handsome, suave, emotional and cruel. Just like what James Bond is supposed to look like.

Craig is not taking a different direction from the past movies. Craig's movies are the closest to being the Bond movies of the 1960s (the best ones). Casino Royale is on par with the same type of film that Dr. No, From Russia With Love, Thunderball and On Her Majesty's Secret Service are.
