This film shows the Newcastle birthplace of Vice Admiral Cuthbert Collingwood, 1st Baron Collingwood (26 September 1748 -- 7 March 1810) who was the victor of Trafalgar - Nelson was killed during the battle.

My channel on you tube : http://www.youtube.com/alanheath is one of the most prolific from Poland. I have produced a number of films, most in English but also in Polish, French, Italian, Spanish and the occasional hint of German and Hebrew. My big interest in life is travel and history but I have also placed films on other subjects.

  • @ALDERMANOFFOUNTALL Wonderful comment - thanks for making it!!

  • how funny. In the last couple of days, I discovered my gr gr gr grandmothers maiden name.. Collingwood. She was born Lincolnshire about 1800. "Collingwood" - sounds like a place that is haunted. I just looked up an old soap opera called Dark Shadows. It had a town named Collinsport... no wonder it feels like a haunted name to me.
