@BigBearfromthe206 lee priest is awesome. unfortunately he uses steroids. but he is my favorite bodybuilder because lee and i are the same height.

i do look up to both lee and darrem.

lee is an inspiration because im short. and darrem because i know ill never use steroids.

now that im getting older. serge nubret is also top on my list.

check him out. not bad for a 50 year old.

@abcmaya hmm, if what you're saying is true then that gives me a lot of hope. I always noticed Darrem over all the other dudes. Him and Lee Priest I think have the best, "non roid" looking physiques out of all of the pros that I know of. Hideki Tisshasfhsdfjsdkfj or whatever is pretty good too. (The Japanese guy). The rest of em' including Phil Heath, Cutler, sigh Ronnie, they all just look nasty to me. Too damn big, it doesn't look natural. I hope the sport veers off into natural bodybuilders.

@BigBearfromthe206 and when they ask him why he never used steroids. his answer was... in his first 2 months of bodybuilding he was able to pack on 40 pounds of muscles. and i tried working out myself to see if i can do the same.... i went from 125 - 160 in 2 1/2 months. so i guess darrem is telling the truth. he also said that it kinda sucks not using steroids cuz he knows he'll never be able to beat the other guys. but hes happy just competing he doesnt need to win Mr Olympia to prove anything

@BigBearfromthe206 i've been watching darrem charles throughout the years.... since highschool. way back in 1994. i got my information from flex magazine. i notice his muscles look a bit different from other bodybuilders. its not as bulky as the others but its has a nicer shape. i wanted to know his routines and workout techniques so i started reading anything i can find about him. and even back in the days when he was accused of using steroids.

@teletubbysniper I agree. I personally think he has the most aesthetic equaling best physique in the bodybuilding arena. He looks smaller, well he is smaller, but I really like that. I think bodybuilding should go this route again like during the Zane and Columbo days. Where smaller guys with fantasic aesthetics win. Arnold was actually smaller than most of today's builders but he looked more natural that's why I them the best. They are big, but it looks natural and not like a roid monster.

one of the few bodybuilders that was able to kept their waist small like the bodybuilders of the past. at the same time being steroid free. darrem charles truly deserve to be in the bodybuilding hall of fame.
