These are koi, there a some large, some small, and some babies. The babies are about 1 inch in length. Tell me what you think. The pond is totally custom no plans, just a few shovels and truckloads of rocks.

  • thats really cool i like the small pool you made for the fry.

  • Thank you, yeah the other koi seemed to enjoy the taste of their newborns, so we decided to make a barrier between them to raise the little ones.

  • nice pond..how many gallons is that pond?how deep?how many fish?

  • There's probably about 2,500 gallons in there.

It's 5 feet to the deepest end, and 2 feet to the shortest end, and it slowly merges.

There are about 22 fish ranging from small to full grown, and about 30-40 babies that are about an inch long.

  • its cool superb work..

  • my favorite part was teh kitteeh :)

  • @SuperQuickStick You have to feed them amply and spread the food out evenly and just eyeball the biiger fish and if they eat all the food in one section just give the little ones more

  • @SuperQuickStick Yeah me and my two brothers...didn't you see the title or read the last sentence of the description.

  • @SuperQuickStick I would suggest buying a small bubbler to oxygenize the water so the koi can breathe easier, especially for the winter when they hibernate.

  • Really nice job!! Where did you get the netting fence materials?

  • hi i am having a pond built for christmas it will be 2000 litres and i need to know how long it will take for the water to become adaptable for the fish to live in it. thanks
