What happens when you combine the obnoxiousness of 1980 Game Tour Freddie Mercury, Elton John on Cocaine, and Vocal Nodules? This "special" version of Restless (or "Wreckless" as Gregsynth calls it) from LA October 10, 1986. Despite Elton's voice being blown, he completely oversings this song beyond recognition.
0:53 is THE most obnoxious vocal I've EVER heard out of Elton! (Yes, even worse than "I'm Still Standing")

@terryj4taazn There's nothing wrong in judging his voice here, the vocals aren't exactly the best but there's hundreds more great performances! And with Elton, he rarely has bad vocal shows so we like to make judgements on them

Could any of you sing this, better than them on their worst day ,and your best day ! Judgemental fucks !

@mikeyinqc I didn't say this was blatantly obvious, there's other performances which if people say are good (Sydney 1986) you wonder why their ears haven't been tested!

@formulaonemad ok- so I can have an opinion until you interpret it as blatantly obvious?hmmm something not quite right there- as I said originally, I am no vocal expert- and is this is not his best- but I enjoyed it. So I remain aparently in violation of your "blatantly obvious" standard! lol

@mikeyinqc very true! unless it's blatantly obvious that it's bad!

@formulaonemad well, that is the beauty of opinion- everyone can have one, and noone need be right.

@mikeyinqc we believe this to be the worst vocal version of the song compared to others!
