@danthman114 probably below $100 all you need is a anvil or something to beat on, a hammer, tongs, and a forge, which you can easily build for less then $20.

@danthman114 You can get started for as little as a couple of hundred dollars or thousands of dollars. Check out "The $50 Knife Shop" by Wayne Goddard for knife making on the cheap.
