I've had my macbook pro for 4 years now and it still runs like its brand new. No way a PC would have lasted this long. I love macs.

@SkilletTRO By the way, my PC specs - AMD FX-6100 6-core 3.3Ghz factory settings, 8GB 1600 MHz RAM, 1Tb 7200 Rpm Hdd, GA-970A-UD3+ motherboard, GIGABYTE Radeon HD 6850 1Gb GDDR5, ASUS CD-drive. All with a Turtlebeach(x41) headset, and it's still cheaper than a Mac. Even a used Mac Pro can't compare without being over $1500.

@SkilletTRO Both Macs and PCs use the same hardware..they just use different software(OS). Most PCs include Intel chips, which Apple has begun using in their macs. Both PCs and Macs use harddrives, which can crash. Both use motherboards, RAM, graphics cards(laptops have special chips) that are all alike. Now tell me the difference. Enjoy your overpriced, underpowered machine. My current PC is a luxury - same performance as the cheapest Mac pro. My PC = $850 - Cheapest Mac pro = $2500.

Funny story, passmark.com ranks the best 6 core processor apple offers (Intel Xeon X5670 @ 2.93GHz) Bellow my quad core (Intel Core i7-2600K @ 3.40GHz). The intel xeon which is a server processor costs ~$1,400 direct (Apple pricing adds about 400 bones per processor) and the i7 ~300. If any mac users knew anything and still preferred mac they'd build their own and if you read this and go "you cant build a mac with special mac parts all macingly" then computers aren't for you.
