I was trying to point out the rank hypocrisy of people defending McCain by saying "but Iraq and Somalia are/were completely different situations" while also defend the use of military force as a first (instead of last) resort by saying "but this is just like pre-WWII Europe, and if we don't attack them it'd be just like appeasing Hitler!!!".

The point is this....anytime there is a special interest in a country that will be the driving force to make you stay.
