In this 1960s suspense-thriller, Sam and Susy Hendrix's quiet Greenwich Village apartment is violently invaded by a trio of ruthless conmen who arrive while Mr. Hendrix is out. As they attempt to coerce his wife into finding for them a doll filled with heroin, they run into challenge after challenge - including Mrs. Hendrix's blindness. The stakes of the games are raised higher and higher, until the ringleader murders his two comrades to confront Susy all alone - and all bets are off.
