You do realize that Africans enslaved their own people and as a result of tribal conflicts occurring in Africa sold these enslaved Africans to Europeans who subsequently took them to places like the Caribbean and North America? The Europeans would simply pull up to the coast of Africa in their ships and pay the Africans to sell their own people into slavery.

I love how Obama, and those like him, want to remove our right to defend ourselves and make us soley depend on the police for protection. Unfortunately, the Supreme Court recently decided that the police are under NO OBLIGATION to help or defend us citizens!

Of course liberals will try to tell you it has something to do with a government militia which is actually a military reserve of not-actually-civillians, and that the right to keep and bear arms is somehow collective (even though all the writers and ratifiers of the constitution considered it an individual right and it says "right of the people") Those that throw in the towel on that lost debate always insist that the second amendment (likely the most important) should be repealed.
