Otalia - Love Action

Hiya everyone! I had my first video for these two magnificant women all ready to coincide with the end of Guiding Light last Friday, but unbeknown to me I used a song owned by WMG and could not upload it! (original song choice being 'Kiss Me' by Sixpence None The Richer) :(

So....I used a different song and did some major tweaking and jiggling and ta da - here it is. Shame you all can't see the video I intended but you can thank WMG for that!

This video is from Olivia's point of view and is about what she feels every time she looks at Natalia. Like she almost cannot believe how intense her feelings are for her, but also knows that the exact feelings are reciprocated.

Thank you so much to Crystal Chappell and Jessica Leccia for the wonderful portrayal of their characters.

Yes, Natalia internalised much more which was true to her character and of course did not mean she stuggled any less though. With Olivia we saw all her battling laid out bare - also true to her character, which is what I loved about Olivia.

In a podcast Jessica did w/ Destini, she was asked if she played Natalia as having repressed feelings for Olivia earlier in the story & she said she "had to" because "nothing was said until very recently". Also, she explained that the main reason for Natalia's denial was that she just didn't think a relationship w/ Olivia was feasible. Then, when Olivia pushed her to marry Frank, etc., it just reinforced that, "Well, Olivia doesn't think it's feasible either." It was a really GREAT interview!

I agree that the "My Two Mommies" fallout was the catalyst for both of them, along w/ that kiss. It forced them to think, "Well, what exactly ARE we?" Olivia told other people how she felt. That's how you knew she was struggling. Natalia never said anything to anyone, so we ONLY had what we could infer. I think this is just b/c Natalia is a much more private person & processes things internally, whereas Olivia is an external processor.

They did both know but it was Olivia that they showed battling with it the most and was the one that allowed herself to be more aware of her feelings. I think Natalia buried it much deeper, I guess cos of her religious views. Bill was the first one she admitted it to - I think I counted from the point where Olivia herself became aware - around the 'my two mommies' time which was Jan - I think she told Bill not that long after that and confessed to Natalia April time.

Actually, both characters say they knew it long before, but kept repressing it. For both of them it was new & scary, having never fallen in love w/ a woman before, & it took a while for them to even realize what was happening. When you say it took at least 4 months to tell her from the time Olivia knew, are you starting w/ when Olivia first said it out loud to someone? (Was Bill the first person she admits it to? Or was it Jeffrey? IDK which came first.)
