*grins* Back in the 'old days' we used to take the plastic trays from McDonalds and go out to Sandy Beach. The tray and an old pair of green and yellow Churchill fins were all you needed...excellent video and song!

Oh yea at Sandy's I was using these webbed gloves which improved catching waves...and of course only 1 fin so you get at least 1 free foot to have a firm hopping/stand at the shallow areas.

me and the boys from down under got kicked off Waikiki coz the cops couldn't handle Speedos back in the 70s, so we used to surf North Shore where no one gave a damn

Class of 79 @ Campbell High School: C&K visited the school and took a buncha year book pictures with us, Awesome! miss those ole plantation days hanging-out with the bradahs and jammin to C&K, Kalapana, Olomana, Beamers, Gabby...the list is endless...Hawai'i in the 70's rocked!!!!!...yes great memories indeed.

This is one of those songs that you sing in the shower at the top of your lungs right......the neighbors can hear you "losing it". It's one of those tunes that you just "lose it" being all happy. Make yuh happy bra! i one tyme jus bus out (like, out of left field) sing-ing in da cah drive-ing wit mai fren and den he look at me lyke i crayzee and tell me, "eh bra! - No ack laik dat!" Cause everybody in the cah next to us could hea me hollering out dat song like i jus went nuts o' someting.

Awesome song!! Brings back memories from when I was stationed in Guam in the late 70s. DJs there played C&K and Kalapana and I quickly bought the albums.  I need to buy these songs on iTUNES and download them to my iPOD. Great music!!

Class of '77 @ Castle High - Kaneohe @ Oahu, back in the days or should be more like daze (pakalolo was great then). This is a song that reminded me of my boys and one Haole boy Jim went to Makapuu beach going for body surf and we sang this sone whenever we went. Damn, those days I will remember foreva!
