Before Pop Idol, Fame Academy, X-Factor, etc, there was a show called "Get Your Act Together" hosted by Ronan Keating.

The winner of this show was a band called Marlo with this song. They won a record contract...

...and were never heard of again! lol Good song though!

Its spelled Marlo..this record was produced by Gus Dudgeon, a real legendary producer..

All these guys are still playing. Though not together..

Ronan Keating did a brilliant job hosting, unlike the pr*ck Dermot on X-Factor and his pathetic tight suits.

I remember the front cover resembled a target, with a big "M" in the middle, then the band in the centre in front of the big "M". Polydor really did not get their fingers out of their arses and screwed them over, four of my fave bands they've done this to now. Charted at #56.

Not sure, i think her name was Georgina Hale or Cale... something like that! I agree, She was VERY good, but Marlo really were the clear winner!! just a shame they faded into obscurity, lol!! ;-)
