They used to be underground, but now White Lies have gone stratospheric - Vib Gyor from Leeds are definitely worth a look, like Starsailor meets Sigur Ros; there is also The Sticks from Manchester - them two are worth the most attention at the moment.

I cant believe it has taken The Seldem Seen Kid to propell them to the heights they now sit at. It is a top album, but so are the other three. I love Elbow, in my top 5 acts of all time. For people who say Coldplay are better, go and do some research into Elbows back catelogue. They make the most beautiful music ever that strikes so many different emotions in you. Coldplay are a good act, but their latest record for me is bland and boring. They should do what many think Oasis should, and stop.
