And everything after Striation City is blind, that's as far as I went in my test run!

Putting aside the ethics and efficacy of DRM, which is an involved topic for which you might not share my enthusiasm... You do realize that the OP is using an emulator to record these videos, right? And that this is even a perfectly legal, non-pirate thing to do, if you own a copy of the actual game?

I picked Snivy hes mad cool

I don't really like how Emboar has so many weaknesses and so little defenses

Serperior's attack is actually average compared to some other pokemon

but I like Snivy his final form is so cool

That's something the developers put in there to discourage piracy. Luckily, someone made a patch to disable that little "feature".

Try Googling something like Pokemon White EXP Patch, or something to that effect. It's really not that hard to find.

I would solve that by just punching them in the teeth after the battle. At least with gym leaders you get half a choice.
