@ladylittles Oh yes. Betty was a fire cracker, if I may put it that way, she didn't want anybody to screw around with Danny's head. And I know because at that time Danny and the rest of them weren't over 21. I just I don't know what it is that I liked about Betty but she kept Danny in line that's for sure. :)
@ladylittles Oh I know. Each one of them have a special relationship with their sons. And I think that Betty was just like a mama bear protecting her cubs. She certainly was the one that Danny came to when the albums flopped or whatever.
@CelesteK It's obvious that Danny and his mom were close. From what I can see, he is an excellent father as well, always talking about his 4 kids. Each one of these moms had something special about them and all were successful with raising their sons to be pretty decent men. That wasn't easy in the 80s/90s and even harder now. But the five of them fought like tigresses for the offspring.
@ladylittles Danny is who he is because of his mother. They were extremely close. :) She instilled those personal values into them. They would never have never been the way that they are now if not for their mothers. :)
Aww... this is so sweet. To hear Betty show so much concern for her son's well being, she was obviously a great mom. I can see why Danny continues to honor her memory. Marlene taught her children great values as well. Her boys grew up into fine men. Donnie's step-dad, Mark Conroy, so proud of the boy he helped raise.
It's really cool how involved their parents were in the begining and especially Danny's mother who was feeling that Maurice was messing with Danny's head. She said from the very begining that she didn't want anybody messing with Danny's head and telling him that he was going to be the "next big thing."
This is a AMAZING video,LOVE to wach it.Sweet greetsxx:)

@CelesteK Betty is obviously your favorite mother. Mine as well, then Marlene, and then Kay.

Danny's mom was such a doll of a woman and Danny such a doll of a man with a smile to die for.
