Duff McKagan is the legendary bass player for VELVET REVOLVER and formerly GUNS N' ROSES. His raw punk approach and melodic riffs lay the foundation of some of the most influential songs of all time.

In his IMV "Behind the Player" DVD, Duff gives an intimate behind-the scenes look at his life as a professional musician including rare photos and video footage.

Duff then gives in-depth lessons for how to play "Sltiher" and "Set Me Free" by Velvet Revolver on bass and jams the tracks with Janes Addiction drummer Stephen Perkins.

VIDEO TAB shows exactly how Duff plays the two tracks. The video-game-style animated tablature is similar to GuitarHero(™), but shows how to play the tracks for real.

Real rockers don't care about technique :D DuFF sounds great. There's no other rock bass player who have so recognisable sound :) In GN'R it was mix of flanger and chorus. Now he mostly use distortion and some delay. I know that all you know many, many technically better bassists, but for me DuFF is the best Rock bassist on the planet.
