Leo, the orange cat, is semi-feral and stumbled into my garage 6 weeks ago. He was filthy, starving, dehydrated, had a bad URI and was about 6 months old. Now he's put on 2 pounds and has been slowly adapting to domestic life. To improve his social skills, my wife found a very dynamic 6/7 week old kitten with a purrrfect personality at the local shelter. Of course the idea is that Dolly will be a playmate and help Leo relearn the natural personality of a healthy cat. After 3 days of light play and a bit of hissing, Leo has bonded with Dolly and here she receives her first bath. :-) Three months later, Leo was rehomed to a nice family!
We rescued two cats that adopted our backyard and subsequently us as well. They are two unrelated, "snipped" males and live peacefully together indoors now. In fact, they are remarkably close with one another. As soon as I can figure out how, I'll post some cat snuggling videos if I can figure out how.

What a handsome cat! I'm so glad you and your wife help take in and rescue feral cats. What an amazing job!

Leo and Dolly are so cute together! They were ideal companions. Seeing how they interacted in this video, I'm surprised you gave Leo away. At least he got another loving home. Thanks for sharing!

They are both so cute. reminds me of the old Steve Martin joke about how he decided to give his cat a bath, and it worked out fairly well...except that some of the fur stuck to his tongue. LOL.

I am sure Dolly misses him. Should have kept Leo...he looks like a great addition to the family.
