It was obvious that Obama would answer either Justice Thomas or Justice Scalia, but the manner in which he referred to Justice Thomas was surprisingly disrespectful. Let's be honest, legal proficiency or one's ability as a jurist had at all nothing to do with Obama's response. I myself am frustrated by the decisions of Justice Stevens and Justice Ginsburg, but I still respect them as brilliant thinkers. Obama's contempt for and bitterness toward any opposing viewpoints once again prevail.

The only way you gain experience is by actually doing and performing the task at hand.

He doesn't agree with his interpretation of the constitution because of why? It based on a limited role of government?
Where is the interpretation when the guy who wrote the Constitution explains it?
Experience is a bullshit saying that people need to make up. If experience were the key to the 2008 election, only two people were qualified, Carter and George HW Bush, since they were the only eligible candidates to be President.

I like Thomas, but in reality he was not qualified for the SC at the time, and even he admited that. He was pressured into taking the position by President Bush. However, it's b/s that Obama critizes Thomas' experience when he's no more experienced to be president. Thomas' life story of where he came from and who he became is far more remarkable than Obama's life story. Justice Thomas is a key example of why minorities don't need affirmative action to succeed.

Actually, it's widely acknowledged that Justice Thomas is where he is today precisely because of affirmative action. The fact that he opposes affirmative action now doesn't mean that he hasn't benefitted from it.

And as we all know - Obama was not a law professor, he was an overrated 'instructor', which, to anyone who has been to college knows, are low level lackeys. As if a law professor can't be wrong? What a narrow minded moron.

The idea of this dim bulb commenting that Thomas wasn't a great legal thinker is so ridiculous, it's not even worth commenting on. What an utter disgrace to America.
