The V&A exhibtion of Street Art includes the Freedom, Justice & Equality exhibition by Mohammed Ali. The show opens in October 2010 and runs til January 2011.
In Breaking Down the Wall, Mohammed Ali explores the concepts of Freedom, Justice and Equality, principles that have been long fought for in many societies, both past and present.
2 dates for the diary:
Nov 11th - Artist talk with Mohammed Ali, and exclusive: Henry Chalfant speaks about the beginning of NY graffiti.
Nov 19th - a live event at the gallery, with spraypainting and spoken-word poetry performed.
Inspired by the likes of Malcolm X, Gandhi, and other activists and visionaries, Mohammed Ali has created an exhibition that explores these iconic figures and their struggles with these universal principles.
