  • Hi mate, great innovative technique. i am quite impressed by this vox DC : beautiful "hollowy" chimey sounds and looks real nice finished and comfortable. Have you been playing it for long ? what kind of guitar did you play before ? how do you appreciate the p90/HB/SC switches ? are they fully usable, did you notice many great combinations ? sorry for my many questions :) but it happens i feel like thinning the herd (ric, gretsch, eko) and find ONE versatile guitar.. cheers -- Reno

  • @nonetheone Hi Reno, I've had the Virage about 2 years. I also play a Strat. There are some great combinations on the Virage, such as the front pickup set to crunch/P90 and the bridge set to clean/SC, or both pickups on clean/P90 for a ric type sound. It's a very versatile guitar - shame it doesn't have a Bigsby though!

I'm also after a gretsch or a ric too - I don't think there is one guitar that will do everything.

  • hey mate nice playing, what song is it?

  • @dk01945 Hi thanks for your comment, it's just a few chords to demonstrate a technique, not really a song as such!

  • Will it work with an amplifier capo?

  • godamd, i own a 12 string myself.. i did't read you was faking 12 string, so i realize that only in the middle of the video

by the way, i used to do that techinique too heheh'

    open chords, just killa

  • @macpips They are quite the high price! But they're worth it!

  • Wouldn't it be easier buying a Third Hand Capo?, ( for those that haven't heard of it, has 6 seperate 'rollers' you can fret in different configurations), -better still, buy yourself a 12-string, get the real thing!

  • Doesn't really sound like a 12 string though.

  • very nice :D but my capo wont do this :((

  • interesting use of chord shapes and capo but doesnt sound 12 string im afraid mate

  • Very cool! Thanks!
