In Love With Toys, Part 10 (1995)

While standing in a 1990s toy show, a collector daydreams he is walking through the toy aisle of a 1970s dime store. Closing sequence of In Love With Toys, a documentary about toy collecting that I produced in 1995. The video received national retail distribution. The original master was unavailable, so this clip was transferred from a used VHS tape. As a result, the audio/video quality is poor.

I love this vid. I have it on VHS, so even the vid itself is now an item of nostalgic quality. Can't believe the guy walked out emptyhanded at the end.

Wonderful documentary. I collect mostly mostly science fiction stuff like Terminator, Alien, etc.Things haven't changed too much. I'm 23 and love going to different comic shops around town to see what they have and I love the environment.

awesome video. i grew up playing with toys and gave them away at the age of 12. still regret that period not until 2008 we're i came back to buy some gi joe stuff, now i want to play again to my world called second childhood. liked!

This was a great film thank you for it i was growing up in the 60s and 70s and i miss these old toys i liked the 80s but i was a teen and really forgot about toys. But thanks i still like my old toys though and i am a collector but i only have a small collection and thats all i intend to ever have.

nice video, i collect just transformers but it's wonderfull how much toys have make a way in the life of peoples, and this peoples, even adult, can stay staring like this at old toys just like if theyre kids again

Great documentary! -This covers how the toy world worked before ebay-Now things are a bit different-I Miss those days-toyshop magazine does not even exist any more-technology sure has it's merits and it's sore spots.

This is one of the best documentaries I have ever seen. I am both a film lover, and a former toy collector. I have a great interest in collecting again someday. The vintage star wars and some of the other vintage Kenner lines are among the most wonderful toys ever made.
