Spun rod bearing LT1

Rod bearing spun and took out the crank journal, piston to valve clearance dropped to nothing and piston started to bang against the head, watch my other videos you'll see the knock

the gen I motor you're referring to as the "real" LT1 is not an LT1 it's an "LT-1" , different motor.

These stock rod bolts are known to stretch and fail.

my car has the same noise but more stronger and today stoped on free way :( shal i change the bearings and thats it? please help :(

@tobysoter you can do it your self for under $300 . get the kit pull the motor

put it in put the motor back in and now you are done

My cars has the exact same problem and noise. To bad it will cost about 1,200 to replace the engine.

@TX97SR20DET how do you know? you have no room to talk 1.) you don't know the condition of the car 2.) the oil is changed with full synthetic every 2200 miles 3.) its not a daily driver
