This is the intro to the famous Minute by minute from Doobie Brothers. I,m not shure if its correct, but I think its close.

  • man you are right on point with that song the chords are right and every thing

  • @jamesshields1000 -Tanks, perhaps not 100%, but not so far from the original.

  • NOTHING like a Moog and a Rhodes! Im too afraid to put my Voyager on mine though ('71 Roundtop)

Great sounds! Have you used the Moog Phaser with it?

    Eric

  • @Rhythmicons Thanks Eric! I would take off the roundtop and just place the Voyager on top of the harp if I where you. I think even Herbie Hancok and Chick Corea did this. I didnt try the Moog phaser with it, I, quite happy with the Small Stone.

  • @fystasjoppheng THats an interesting idea, though Herbie and Chick could have Harold Rhodes fix and retune theirs, I don't have that luxury lolol. The Voyager is just too heavy for my roundtop. I feared gravity woudl take its toll and warp it (roundtops look great). The coolest I saw was a Voyager Old School on a 53(?) key Rhodes, they were the same width I believe. Does that small stone sound like the vintage one? I haven't tried the Phaser yet as the Rhodes is in a different location.

  • @Rhythmicons -I use to have a Rhodes Mark 1 and a mod d, after whatching a lot of performers(not only Chick and Herbie) remove the roundtop and put their mini on the harp (Mod D) direct, I decide to give it a try as well(I thought it looks cool). The hard have some kind of a metalpart 2 places I belive wich goes between all the tonebars and they are some cm higher then the tonebar end the Moog fit nicely on those crossing metal pieces.
