I consider clone wars to be canon, but the clone wars is more of an alternate universe, TCW is a horrible show, but their are some cool things about it cad bane, savage oppress, but at the same time Ive read all the books about darth maul, and he never had a family, I think they where either killed or they abandoned him as a child. The clone wars is constantly raping the expanded universe of star wars

I personally love both series. Actually in the clone wars series they are a few episodes that get really dark and more mature plot lines even darker than clone wars. So if you think about it it's the clone wars is a show for an adult to enjoy too.

I'm pissed of because The Clone Wars is higher canon than Clone Wars and the other EU.
But in my personal canon, Clone Wars will be always the highest. Even higher than the 6 movies.

The Tartakovsky version captures the original theme and element of the original trilogy. It included technology as well from the original trilogy and didn't divorce itself in visual theme like the 2nd trilogy did. You can hardly believe that these two trilogys are happening in the same universe yet Tartakovsky successfully blends the old and new through animation in 10 minutes.
He succeeded thematically and inspirationally.

Sadly I'm going to have to disagree. I personally like The Clone Wars series as well as Clone Wars. I just haven't been able to catch the episodes but the ones I've seen aren't as bad as what people make them out to be. In my opinion anything Star Wars related that George Lucas has done has not been bad. Also to clarify the movie was the first few episodes. They just decided to string them together to make a movie to promote the coming series. That's why the animation is the same.
