Curry explains that someone who prays effectually is one that prays the will of God, and does not doubt.

About 6 minutes into this video, Curry defines doubt as, "To Stop, hesitate, and back off." He says that doubt is not a thought. He says that doubt in thought is basically the temptation to doubt. I love his explanation and believe if this way of understanding would set people free. However, when I looked up the definition of doubt, it is basically a thought. I also would like to know how this teaching figures with the verse where Peter doubted and then started to sink into the water.
