Kajukenbo people don't wear padding, it depends on the instructor too, as to how much/hard you get hit. This instructor is not hitting this student hard at all. My instructor taught us how to get hit too, along with with conditioning too so you get used getting hit without padding. You get bruises, but that's it. It really sucks though when you get hit with a kali /eskrima stick, just OUCH..

@Mider999 Kajukembo people hardly ever wear any padding, we don't want people to go into shutdown the first time they get hit hard in real life we do body conditioning all along from white belts on up

@Mider999 Thats within kajukenbo

ive actually started learning kajukenbo recently

@Dairyfreeze So basically he's getting hammered by John Bishop? Wow guy must be very well trained in some type of Iron Body training
-
@Mider999 The only padding is his cup, which is very necessary.
I have a question for you Mr.Bishop. in 3:27 what if he strikes you in the groin?

That technique is "Punch Counter 8". Like all Kajukenbo techniques, it's just the beginning of the defense. "Adlibs" (strikes, kicks, knees, stomps, etc.) are added to all techniques until the defender is no longer a threat.
If the attacker was not already down on his face after the downward hammer fist strike to the neck, I would have continued with right knee strikes to the face and upper body until he was down. Then stomps and knee drops until he was no longer a threat.
