President Obama Witnesses Return of Americans Killed in Afghanistan

President Obama saluted 15 U.S. soldiers and three Drug Enforcement Agency agents as their bodies, in transfer cases, were carried off a military transport plane and onto the the tarmac at Dover Air Force Base in Delaware. The base is America's entry point for U.S. servicemen and women killed overseas. President Obama's presence marked a shift in policy regarding media coverage of war casualties. With the family's permission, reporters were allowed to record the return of one of the soldiers. This was the first time in 18 years the media was allowed at such an event. VOA's Elizabeth Lee has the details.
