what do you mean with spanish?? Because spanish only mean the people from Spain, in Europe who are white and caucasian, not the people from Mexico, central and southamerica who speak spanish because we conquered them but they have nothing to do with Spain and the spanish people.

that's an execellent point. all penelope is achieving is making americans think that spaniards are ugly and that all they can produce in the dramatic arts is untrained and untalented burdens on directors and crews.

she isn't even attractive in the most general way, definitely not attractive enough for the big screen.

but mostly, she's NOT and actor. she has no training and the directors shoot all her scenes the way you shoot an amateur.

you make sure their scenes aren't too long, their lines too meaty, that they're not in long shots (what a pro does is move within the screen in character) and that they don't have complicated tasks within the scene.

Being Spanish doesn't make you special.

When I said "she's nothing special" I was referring to her as a Spanish woman. I know loads of Spanish girls and this one isn't one who would stood up among them.
