@OxfordMedicalSchool Just google "Adding and Editing captions 100077" (no quotes) and you'll see how easy it is to caption your videos: All you need is the transcript in a text file, and the YouTube voice recognition will grab it and automagically sync it to the dialog.
No Excuse to post non-captioned videos now, especially from a uni as prestigious as Oxford.

@OxfordMedicalSchool: Also, tuning fork?! Is NHS so cheap they won't even spring for a basic RadioEar bone conductor for your friggin audiometers?!

@OxfordMedicalSchool: The audio is not that clear; and since I'm hearing impaired, could you please caption your videos?

@discpad Thanks for your feedback. As these videos are produced by medical students I'm afraid we have limited resources available when it comes to post-production, including captions. We therefore have no plans to add subtitles to these current videos in the near future, as we are prioritising new videos. However, we will certainly consider subtitles in the new batch as it is clearly important that they are fully accessible.

so not facial nerve palsy then?

@ball1336 Fair point, that would be the sixth depending on your order. We will confirm this with the person who directed the voiceover - many thanks for pointing it out.

@ball1336 Indeed, it has now been confirmed that the voiceover is erroneous and that there are 6 cardinal features of ear disease. These are: hearing loss, otalgia, tinnitus, vertigo, otorrhoea and facial nerve palsy.
