Great interplay between Johnny Marr's guitar and Andy Rourke's bass on this song.

Technical stuff:
Open D Tuning (DADF#AD) with a capo on the 2nd fret. Guitar and Bass parts recorded through a GNX4 multi effects pedal. Drum programming through the GNX4. Used chorus effect for the guitar and P-Bass patch for the bass.

  • what is the bass tunned to?"

  • standard tuning on the bass

  • why the capo?

  • Because that's the way Johnny plays it. Who am I to argue with Mr. Marr?
