@scrappy5011 Not good enough at the weights maybe, but if Usain Bolt carried 20stone against my 13 I reckon I'd have him over 100yds. It's a handicap, not a Group 1......

Simply not good enough-Persian Punch.Jezabeel was an absolute certainty that day with the light weight and I enjoyed collecting my winnings.Persian punch was a good horse but obviously not up to the task against some quality opposition.

Another 2f & Punch would have reeled them in. Gutsy tough horse he was. Watch the Jockey Club cup...it was typical of many of his races.

Great reply by both mares considering they were both pole-axed in the Caulfield Cup when they were travelling well too. Champagne was all heart.
