My parents bought one of these brand new in '75. I learned to drive with it in the '80s. It was a beautiful silver color and hell to parallel park.

Once big, fast, flashy, and glamorous, by 1975 the Riviera was merely big. Still has 100% more character than most moderns, though.

I clearly remember the 71 thru 74 Rivs but honestly, sales must have gone down a lot in 75 because I seriously don't remember Rivieras looking like this between 75 and 78, they must not have sold many of them. I can't recall ever seeing one????

Ugh... the huge bumper reqts of the time ruined the looks of this era of car. They never recovered from that till now.
